WHITE'S BOOTS The Original Semi-Dress Black
The Original Semi-Dress Boot From 1932.
Originally made for store clerks and assembly workers, this Depression-era boot has all the resilience of the men who inspired it. Built to face the challenge of week-in week-out wear without breaking down, this boot has taken on the pride of its years of service, maintaining its place in our offerings.
Handsewn Stitchdown Construction
The hand-sewn stitchdown construction type is the lynchpin of our history, a process passed down from bootmaker to bootmaker since the beginning, way back in 1853. When hand-sewing a boot, our master bootmakers painstakingly last, welt, and bottom it by hand. Hand-lasting ensures a customized flt, hand-welting a durable and water-resistant seam, and hand bottoming an all-leather arch that becomes more comfortable by the day.
