HOUSTON M-1941 Chino Trousers Olive Drab

A reproduction of the 41 Khaki chino trousers. Known as metal chinos, they use the original ARMY metal buttons. The shape of the thread, the direction of twisting, and the number of twists at the time were analyzed, and the weaving defect commonly seen in this material, "twill collapse," has been reproduced in a modern way. The dyes are also used in the same way as back then, using durable VAT dyes that are used in harsh environments.
